Cyprian Matthew Joseph, the son of Mattherson and Cerina Joseph (both deceased) was born on September 26, 1966 on the beautiful island of Carriacou (Grenada, W.I). Cyprian attended the L’esterre RC School, Hillsborough Secondary School, and later the Grenada Technical Vocational Institute.

Cyprian attended Grenville Pentecostal Lighthouse (on the Grenada mainland) under the leadership of Pastor Samuel Niles, where he received the Lord Jesus Christ in 1983, and served in the music ministry. In 1986, he relocated to Carriacou, where he joined the Glad Tiding Assembly under the leadership of Pastor William James, and also served faithfully in the music ministry.

In 1988, Cyprian migrated to the United States, where he was led to the ministry of Crown Heights Gospel Church, Brooklyn, New York, under the leadership of Pastor Edwin James. He remained faithful to this ministry until this present time. Over the years, he has served faithfully in many areas of ministry. He served as Minister of Music, Men’s President, and held leadership roles in Choir, Couples, and Youth ministries. He has also served as chairman of the Executive Board for nearly two years.

Cyprian met his wife, of 21 years, (Debra P. Joseph) from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Brooklyn, New York, and was united in holy matrimony on July 20, 1991. From that union they have three beautiful daughters – Dana, Cristal, and Carlena.

Cyprian Joseph is a true man of God, who serves with integrity and christian character.  His commitment is to follow God, stay humble, and do as God directs and commands him to do. His loyalty and total commitment to God is the foundation on which he stands. He loves the Lord and desires God to get the glory, the honor and the praise out of whatever he does for Him.

In 2007, Cyprian was ordained to the office of Deacon, where he served faithfully. On January 10, 2010, he was elevated to the office of Elder, an office which he held until God called him to the Pastorate of Crown Heights Gospel Church Inc.
Cyprian has answered the call of God to the Pastorate. He has led an exemplary life among the believers and to all that have crossed his path. His desire is to continue to serve God’s people as a true shepherd under the chief shepherd.
